About Me:
I’m an engineer by background. I was working on some of the largest resources projects in Australia before pivoting into property development. I have three young kids and try to stay active by playing sport each weekend.
At Develop Capital, I am responsible for:
Delivery of our property development opportunities. I take the acquisition concepts and turn that into a fully-fledged project, then project manage it to completion.
The Thing I Love Most About My Role Is:
I love to see the ideas turned into reality. I also get to touch all parts of property development process. No two projects are the same, so it keeps thing interesting!
Before Develop Capital:
I was an electrical engineer working in the oil and gas industry. I would split my time by working in the head office, traveling to international project locations, or visiting our offshore oil and gas rigs. It taught me how to run large, complex projects, and how to work with contractors to achieve great outcomes.
My Very First Development Project:
I bought a beautiful character home in Mount Lawley and lovingly restored it while living there with my wife and young children. To the rear we also built two double storey homes facing a laneway that had been upgraded to a minor street. It was a cute little laneway development in a heritage zone, so we had to be very mindful of the surrounding neighbourhood.
